Planning consent received to demolish an existing 7-storey building to build a 36-storey office tower in the heart of the City of London’s insurance district. The development includes 28,000 sq.ft. of retail and a free public terrace offering views across the listed Leadenhall Market. Strip out and demolition of the existing building is ongoing and a 200,000 sq.ft. pre-let signed with Latham&/Watkins. Provided feasibility, development appraisal, appointed core consultant team, product vision, project brief, planning consent and value optimisation studies.
At Brookfield Properties UK, Carlo led the development feasibility and the design process, leading to achieving two successful planning consents that will increase the value of the site by an additional 300,000 sq.ft.
